Name: meenakshi Hi All,We are happy to announce that we are blessed with Baby boy on may 8th at about 7:36 P.m.he is 6lbs 12 oz and 18 1/2 in long.we both are doing good .as in earlier post i told you that docter suggested me for induction,we reached at hospital by 2 am on 8th may and i was induced at around 3.40 a.m .initially it was ok ,but as time passed by my contractions started to come nearby and very strong.i asked for walking epidural around 11.45 a.m .my pain subsided but i started having itches as a side effect,for that nurse gave me some medicine in my IV.after some time cause of pitocin my contractions were coming very nearre and baby went into stress,they just stopped pitocin for a while they did my internal checkup at around 12p.m and i was still 2 cm dialated.then for some reason my blood pressure dropped and for that nurse again added some medicine in IV.this kept on going till 6pm and then my doc arrived he checked me up and told that i havent made any progress in 12 hours and am still 2 cm dialated and baby who was in head down position has shifted his head on side and there is no other way than c- section .they took me on OT at around 7:15 pm and baby was arrived at 7:36pm .Due to so many addition of medicines in my IV i was nauseated ,vomiting and sleepy all the time in OT and after that also....
but after seeing baby every pain went away.take care all of you...
