Hi..I am in my 16th Week, however, I am still going through morning sickness. Also, I do have stomach cramps at times, I have not gained any weight in last 3 months, also, my apetite is still very bad, not able to eat much. I am really worried. Is it normal, anyone else facing this??

Hi...
Sickness depends on person to person. Some dont have it at all some have it till the end. Have less quantities of food often. STock up on water, juices, fruits/veggies a lot so you get enough nutrition. Have cornflakes fortified with vitamin Bs they say vitamin B6 reduces morning sickness in some. Not a bad thing to try. Stomach cramps on the lower part of the stomach ie pelvic region is fine my midwife said. She said some thin people feel the ligaments pulling the uterus up hence the pain. Any pain in upper part of stomach is not fine. Better have a check with your ob-gyn/midwife regarding your cramps. Better to check it out you will feel relaxed and wont need to worry much then. And chill....Weight gain is less in initial mths some even lose weight. So wait for sickness to disappear. Have dry fruits like almonds and pista they are rich in iron and good for weight gain.

Hi...I think sickness depends on person to person. Some people just don' t have it. Some have it till the end! Better would be eat small meals and have lots of water, juices, fruits and veggies. Stock up on these so your body gets the nutrition. Have lots of dry fruits like almonds, pista they are rich in iron and add weight. If the cramps are in the below part ie pelvic region my midwife said its fine. She said some think people feel the ligaments pulling the uterus upwards. If the cramps are in upper part of the abdomen then there is reason to worry. Better have a talk abt it with ur ob-gyn/midwife. That should clear any doubts. The initial mths there is not much weight gain. So keep ur fingers crossed from now on there is weight gain...
