Health Issues:psoriasis cure

I had been suffering from psoriasis since last 12 yrs. I tried various allopathic, homeopathic & other treatment but I never got relief from this dreaded disease. I also used ayurvedic treatment it cured somewhat in summer seasons but again it errupted in winters. I was quit fed up but did not loose my patience. Last 3-4 years back i saw Swami Ramdevji maharaj Yoga program on astha chennel & in that I saw expreince being told by practioners that psoriasis can be cured with the help of pranayama. I was happy to see this and I started regularly 1 hour daily in the morning and evening. But to my surprise even after practising sincerely for 1 & half years I could not get the result and I was upset. I took prescibed ayurvedic medicines also but could not get desired result. Last year from Nov.2006 to Feb 2007, I got severe attack of psoriasis even after my regular yoga practises. Then in march 07, I realised that may be my practice of pranayama is wrong. Then again with new technique of pranayama I started again. I started three techniques of pranayama as taught by swamiji with very slow & deep deep breather with my full lungs filled with air and than with the same very slow speed i exhaled the air. To my surprise I could see my disease being cured to 95 within 7-8 months. I also did meditations, kept my emotions under control with the help of meditation. I bet that ayurvedic medicine alone can' t cure this but only this deep & slow breathing excercise alongwith ayurvedic medicine, psoriasis can be cured. Second important thing is Diet. I used salt which is used during our fast you can get it in local stores. I stopped eating Indian Masalas instead used 1 or 2 chilles in my food. Oil restriction was also there. With all these practices now I have almost cured my psoriasis and living happily. But even now as a matter of precaution I am practising pranayama, meditation and restricted diet.
Friends you can also free your self with this disease as I told you and lead a happy & joyfull life. I pray for all of your.

Insteat of allopathy, i recommend you either to go for ayurvedic treatment or homeopathy treatment as in allopathy steriods are used & many side effects are there.
If you are taking ayurvedic treat than diet plays a very vital role without proper diet you wont find solution to yr. problem. So avoid oily Food , junk food, spicy food and reduce salt to lowest intake that suits your taste. Keep track of your BP when you reduce salt as it may go down. Strictly stop non-veg. Eat fruits and vegetables.

With this diet practice pranayam daily 1 hour in morning and 45 minutes in evening with breathing excise atleast for 30 minutes and other excises for 30 minutes as taught by swami ramdevji maharaj on astha channel. Apply psorex oil or any other oil that will reduce your itching after having your bath with warm water do not take bath with cold water it will harm your skin.

You will notice the cure after 5-7 months when you strictly follow this proceedure You wont notice any change prior to this but after this period you will see dramatic changes.

I will advice that if you get cured please do not eat non veg or spicy, oily food. Keep track of your diet for atleat 4-5 years as due to psorisis our immune system does not support such type of junk food.

Hi sachin!

Good to here that you have started pranayam. For getting good result you should have strict control on your diet while taking ayurvedic medicines. For eg. you should strickly avoid oily food, spices, and reduce the salt to the lowest in your food intake. Do not eat outside food strictly. Practise pranayam (anulom vilom 30 min. kapalbhati 30 min you can take pause whereever tired for 2-4 min.) and with this strict adherence you will see results 6-7 months.

Hi Shailesh, its really encouraging to know that theer is a psorasis cure. I am also suffereing from psorasis from last 8 years but it has really aggravated in last 3 years. This is an old thread but one thing no-one said was that exercise is important for gut motility. All the green veg and pear juice will be limited in their effectiveness if the kid isn't very physically active (just walking more and driving less helps!)
