hello abi,
dont make the coconut rice before one day, may be the taste of coconut rice will get disturbed or spoiled, so if you want to make, make it fresh rice and then only serve to gurest.

hello abi,
you can make this coconut rice and keep it in refrigerator, and next day reheat this rice and serve to guest, so better make it late night and put it in refrigerator as soon as it cools down.

Hi Abi, you can do that but put the rice in refrigerator or else the smell of coconut will get spoil and destroy all your plan. So better make it late night and put it in fridge as soon as it cools down.

You can reheat them as you are cooking them. I mean you can use the same stove that you cooked the rice on, to reheat the rice but reheated rice do not taste very nice and you should cook it on the day of the baby shower.

Cook your coconut rice in two or three batches and this way it will be easy for you to reheat them before serving it during your baby shower. Or hire cooks to make it fresh on the day of your baby shower.

Why don't to keep the coconut rice in different foil containers and then during your baby shower you can just reheat in the microwave before serving it to the guests. This is a idea i read online on some page.

Hello Abhi,
Once food was prepared and that too rice item cannot be reheated and the food will not be tasty as per my knowledge only rice items which are sour to taste can sustain. So it better you cook in early hours around six in the morning and serve your guest.
