hello sunita,
its really very shocking thing, but you should divert her mind to tell her some interesting stories of tone and all, but you apply some home remedies on her, and try to improve her tone.

hello sunita
if she ask you about dark tone, you have to tell her that its not bad at all, black tone is very good and give so good look so she might be understand your things and accept it.

It is really shocking to hear that a 5 year old kid is conscious about her dark skin. Sit with your kid and make her understand that colour does not determine anything also it is not important for a life. Children can be easily changed by saying useful things in a correct way. So, take time and make her understand the necessity things in life are lot more than a skin colour.

yes it is shocking. it is not expected form a 5 yrs old child.it must be an impact of advertisments who make people and now children also to think so that fair is good and black is dirty. make her understand that it is not an issue and it doesn't affect her life u talk with her or tell the person to whose she listens always talk to her.

OMG really, please show her photos of Tyra Banks Bipasha Bassu and also other dark skinned beauties. Teach her that skin colour is only for the surface and that she must study hard and be a good person. Tell her the skin fairness creams do not work. sit down and ask her where she is hearing all this nonsense. Be patient and explain to her that half the population of USA is black and more successful anyone. It is up to you to teach your daughter to listen to you. Take my example although i grew up in a liberal no nonsense household mu mum would say sometimes dont swim all day I dont want u sunburnt for an upcoming wedding. Did we as kids care/? NO I was quite dark as a child from playing in the sun and you know I enjoyed my childhood not couped up inside as most females are of indian origin. In my late teens with more time indoors i became what is considered fair but i still sit in the sun to get some colour plz feel free to email me id love to talk to ur daughter or u . IT is up to YOU to empower her remember god gave u ur skin colour but its up to u to get ur degree

Our weight loss story
We were killing ourself with food, and we both were suffering from diabetes. After the surgery we are two whole new people. We act, walk and talk differently. We are finally feeling the way we were meant to feel. We are able to walk, dance, work and do other things without needing to sit down every few minutes. Weight loss surgery is not a diet…. it is a whole new life! ... - Meghana Prabhu [View Message]
