Hi,

My 6 months old son passes motion every alternate day. Is it normal? Any home remedy for common cold?

The doc. says it is ok but you can help him by increasing his fluid intake and give him diluted prune juice every now and then.

Sharma, if your 6 month old is passing motion every alternate day then you have nothing to worry about. I take it youve started baby on solids and therefore this is normal. The same thing happened with my niece and she is now 2yrs old. As for the Common cold - there are no cures. You will just have to see it through. Try using Expulin. It is a good decongestant and it tastes sweet as well. All Chemists sell this.
