Yes walnut oil has nearly same benefits as that of eating walnuts directly. The benefits of walnut comes from its oil as it is excellent sources of omega-3 fatty acids.he health benefits of walnuts and walnut oil are similar if the oil is unrefined, fresh and uncooked. the serving size of walnut oil is less than the amount of walnuts needed to get the same nutritional benefit. The cardio-protective benefits of walnut oil are primarily due to the high concentration of alpha-linolenic acid. Walnut oil has a rich, nutty flavor that is perfect for salad dressings

They are rich in monounsaturated fatty acids such as oleic acid and an excellent source of omega-3 essential fatty acids like linoleic acid, alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) and arachidonic acids. Regular intake of walnuts in the diet helps to lower total and LDL cholesterol and increases HDL cholesterol levels in the blood. omega-3 fatty acids help to prevent coronary artery disease and strokes by favoring healthy blood lipid profile. These nuts are have B-complex groups of vitamins such as riboflavin, niacin, thiamin, pantothenic acid, vitamin B-6, and folates.
