Name: Editor How did you plan for your baby' s expenses? Do you know of ways to cut down on the costs of raising a child? Would you be open to the idea of second-hand clothes for your baby?

Subject:  Gift articles
One good way to save is to have your friends gift you baby stuff. For my sister in USA, they made a list of things and then each person selected something of the list. My sister got quite a bit of diapers, baby toiletries, etc. So it really came in handy. It is really good to get such gifts. It is easier to manage baby expenses in this way and avoid wastage of money on certain products. This is a good remedy for avoiding wastage your’s and your friends’ money. This is because most of the people end up buying clothes for babies as a gift which are of no use after few months when baby grows up.

Subject:  Don´ t use diapers
I would advise all people to please not use disposable diapers for your children. It is a waste of money. Instead, better to use cloth for your children. They will feel much better. Disposable diapers cause all sorts of problems for your child' s delicate skin. Babies feel comfortable in cotton nappies also we can reuse these nappies again instead of diapers. Usage of diapers is a total wastage of money and can also develop rashes on baby’s delicate skin. I can also advice people these diapers are good to be used while travelling short distances.

Subject:  Agree about the clothes
I agree with the article about using other clothes. Babies outgrow their clothes very quickly so there is no point in buying expensive clothes for them. I saved my first-born' s clothes and used the same thing when my second child was born. Even my mother used the same technique she used my sister’s old clothes for me when I was born. When my sister was born, my mother took few of my cousin’s clothes. I have also heard from many people that a new born baby should be dressed in old clothes. This tradition is followed in some Indian religions since many years.
