Ganesh Visarjan is the most beautiful event of the year. But the sad thing is that it is the last day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Ganesh Visarjan falls on the eleventh day of Ganesh Chaturthi. It is amazing to see so many idols of Lord Ganesh during the time of Visarjan. It is very beautiful view. I also enjoy watching people dancing on the road during Ganesh Visarjan. But it is very important that parents take proper precautions during Visarjan and protect their children. Safety always comes first. I will also appeal people that they observe Eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan this time. Also Try to immerse Ganesh idols in artificial ponds provided by government during Ganesh Visarjan. It is very important that we observe eco-friendly Ganesh Visarjan.

I would like to wish everybody on this board a very happy Ganesh Chaturthi and Happy Ganesh Visarjan. May Lord Ganesh Bring lots of prosperity, wealth and happiness to everybody.

small idols are preferable during Ganesh Chaturthi

People should prefer small Ganesh idols so that it is easier for Visarjan. Both small and big Ganesh idols have same significance. All the sizes of idols have equal amount of power to destroy evils and obstacles from the human life. The big idols going into the sea create lots of sea-water pollution and cause harm to sea life. Pollution is also created on the sea shores because people throw garlands and flowers offered to Lord Ganesh there. Rather than buying big Ganesh idols people can buy small idols which are easier to handle. There is a need of introducing eco-friendly Ganesh idols.

No loud music during Ganesh Chaturthi

We do not call for a band or any music during Ganesh Chaturthi because we do not want to create noise pollution. It is not necessary that Visarjan should be done only with band and music. We just chant ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’ all the way till the sea-shore. Today’s young generation should learn to avoid pollution during festivals. It is only during the times of festival when people create lots of pollution. If all the people think in the same way we can avoid lots of pollution. All the celebrations and festivals should be pollution which will make our life safer.

I enjoy Ganesh Visarjan with my friends

We enjoy Ganesh Visarjan a lot. We like to dance in the procession during Visarjan. When we were kids there used be a very nice band but now a days we organise for loudspeakers and music played by the DJ. It feels very good to dance with friends on road. It is the only festival when we get together. We are celebrating this since our childhood. And we will continue this culture and will try to celebrate eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi. All my friends also believe in celebrating eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi. I hope that we are first in our area to celebrate eco-friendly Ganesh Chaturthi.
