HEY EVEN I WAS A SMOKER.... I USED TO SMOKE TWENTY-THIRTY A DAY...BUT I QUIT COLD TURKEY SOME YEARS BACK... THE BEST DECISION OF MY LIFE... I´ LL P*KE IF I EVEN SEE ANOTHER CIGARETTE...IT´ S NOT THAT DIFFICULT... IT REQUIRES SOME WILLPOWER....

good article. but unfortunately if smokers had the sense to underatand these things they wouldnt have started smoking in the fisrt palce.

THe only solutin is BAN SMOKING. if the govt. can ban gutka and tobacco chewing why not smoking. at least tobacco chewing does not harm others around but smokers are a scourge who pollute the atmosphere

I started smoking because of the stress. I´ m a forex dealer and the late hours and the need for concentration require something to kill the stress and keep you just high enough to ensure that you are truly alert of small changes. Now I´ m no longer on the floor of the dealing room but am still stuck with a smoking habit. Quitting isnt easy guys! The question is what are other stress relievers?

Yeah think thats a good solution. Already around the world people are banning smoking in public places. This is a good preventive step especially when you take into consideration the effects of passive smoking.

Hey I never thought of that. In fact, lift the ban on gutka and tobacco chewing. If someone wants to kill themselves deliberately, what can anyone else do? Passive smoking is one of the worst things in this world, especially if a family member smokes. I have some friends whose dads smoke. Do these men realise that they are providing an early death to the entire family? SMoking is banned in public places at least, thank goodness.
