Very nice article, it pointed out a lot of things that I had observed myself. I observe all these things because marketing people are always trying cunning stunts to get us to buy things! Even at the local DMart they arrange one fancy thing after the other, you end up buying at least ten things you dont need at all.

YES. Nothing is like the old days when we just went to the local kiraana with a list, bought what we needed and came back. no, no, i´ m not that old, I just remember the days when my mom used to send me with a list, or I would go along to bring back groceries. WE only brought back 2-3 bags, and now?? People go home with an entire trolley filled with things!!! How and when did this happen? Those marketing people must be really smart....

how can shopping be a bad thing!! i dont fall for all the advertisements i see, at least i dont think so, but this article is making me think now...hmm. but i completely agree about these companies targetting kids, my kids go crazy if they see some new thing on tv.
