Name: Ashna I am pregnant with my second child. When I had my first child, I had taken a long time to recover completely. Sex was a no no for me for about four months. Even I had no interest in it. Now I am worried if same will happen to me again after delivery.

During pregnancy, the body goes a lot of changes so it will take time to recover. The stress of childbirth needs time for recovery. Lack of interest in sex can be due to sore perineum area, tiredness and lack of sleep. All this needs time. what you experienced is quite normal.

Recovery time after delivery depends on the various factors. Some women recover within 4-6 weeks while others may take more time. Type of delivery also affects recovery. Healing is quicker in normal delivery. Don' t worry, just take care.
