Hi,

My doctor has told me to have triple marker test, although the ultrasound report for downs screening is normal. I have read on the internet that this marker test has slight risk of mis carriage. Does anyone has any idea about it. Please let me know, since the date she has given me for this test is tomoro.

My doctor also suggested me to go thru this test don' t worry its only a blood test and its only to check the well being(abnormalities) of the baby... dont worry and enjoy ur pregnancy time

Hi ADi...nothing to worry abut this test.....just a blood test....I got this test done on 4th.....my doc told me this is for checking anomalies...cos all anomalies can' t be checked in downs...report is still awaited....keeping my fingers crossed....btw,which doc you are consulting....cos I have heard that not all docs recommend this test....all the best
