Home Remedies For Fever

I always rely on home remedies for bringing down the fever. My grandmother used to prepare decoction from different herbs to cure the fever. It really worked for me. Tulsi leaves are excellent for fever.

The basic thing that I could consider is the use of warm water and hand towel to lower down fever. Origano is one of a good herbal medicine as well.

Fever Home Remedies

Home remedies are very effective in curing normal fever. Honey, basil and ginger are good for treating fever. Tea made from these ingredients when taken frequently, bring down the fever. The added benefit is that they do not have any side effects.

Contrary to popular belief, fever is good for the body. It is a way of killing the bacteria. Slight temperature is good but high temperatures must be brought down.
