Adoption:Anybody have adopted from Pune?
2008-05-09
Name: Vaidehi
Hi,

Me and my husband both are US citizens (both born in India) and would like to adopt a baby girl from India. I´ d really appreciate if anybody is willing to share/give their experience or any advise/opinion who have adopted a child from Pune area?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Vaidehi,
I was just going thru all the website to find out more about adoption process and I saw your message. I think you are in same boat as me. How is your experience so far?

Thanks,
Dee

Check out BSSK [Bhartiya Samaj Sewa Kendra] in lane 6 Koregaon Park Pune they are very good. Also SOFOSH at KEM hospital [or Sassoon, not sure]. Please avoid Preet Mandir there are huge cases pending against them [for malpractice]. Hope this helps.

RE:3 year old remembering her mom
As your daughter is old, she will need a mother to take care of. But the decision is up to you, whether or not you are comfortable. If you can fill the gap of her mother then you can continue without marriaage... - Radhe [View Message]
RE:3 year old remembering her mom
Marriage is not the solution as the new mother won’t guarantee complete elimination of your daughter’s sadness. Maybe she would never accept her as a mother.... - Nitin [View Message]
RE:3 year old remembering her mom
It seems you are young. So there will be times when even you might feel lonely. And as far your daughter is concerned, she will definitely need a mother as you can never get as close a mother can get.... - Ruhi [View Message]
RE:3 year old remembering her mom
First try to eliminate the sadness of your child or she might go in depression. Later you can take the decision of second marriage. Also you have to be very careful in selecting one as now it is about our daughter.... - Dubu [View Message]
