please don't go to v.v hospital. even i heard many people are blaming them as a money minded. Why can't u adopt a child first, then u can try for the baby. because this will give you happiness first. I will pray for you don't worry wish u good luck Padma

I am exactly not sure about GG experiences, sorry i am not able to help you in that aspect. I am a doctor myself and i came across this site by chance and because genetics associated with high risk pregnancies and infertily is my field of interest, i opened your message. i am sorry to know about your experience.
As far i have read, the translocation you carry could be the cause of your miscarriages. i am sorry but this cannot be corrected. hence you have been asked to go in for egg donation.

may I suggest to you, Dr. Jayam Kannan, an infertility specialist, in this regard? she has her clinic at Kodambakkam and the contact number . she is THE leading gynecologist at Trichy and she has started her clinic at chennai as well. the results are pretty good there.

I went through infertility for 8 years. I went to GG Hospital, Chennai and i really had very very bad experience with Dr. Kamala selvaraj. And the nurses are very poor in their knowledge. They cannot even write/notedown your problem correctly. Dr. Kamala Selvaraj is very very rude and very much money minded. I will definitely NOT recomend going for treatment with her. recently I have been diagnosed with "Balanced reciprocal translocation" between the long arm of chromosome 14 and the long arm of chromosome 18 --> [46, XX, t(14;18)(q13;q11.2)], Translocation karyotype, female.

We did the chromosomal tests only after I had 2 miscarriages. The Dr asked me to try again normally and we had another one last month. So the Dr has suggested us to go for Donor eggs. As in my case we can see a sac but no feutus.

Please give me any info you have.
