Ingredients:
Boneless Chicken - 1 - 1.5 lb cut into bite sized pieces
Chilli powder - 2 tsp (or to taste)
Lime Juice - 3 tbsp
Curd - 2 tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tsp
Salt - to taste
Food coloring - a little
Oil - for deep frying
Method:
Take a bowl and mix all of the mentioned ingredients (except oil) and allow to marinate for 3-4 hrs. Then, heat oil in a pan and deep fry the marinated chicken pieces till golden brown. An excellent appetizer/starter and side dish for biryani / pulaos for other rice varieties.
For garnish:

Chicken 65 recipe
Ingredients
2 pounds skinless boneless chicken breast
1 teaspoon Chili Powder
1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
Salt to taste
2 Egg whites
2 Tablespoons Corn flour
2 Tablespoons Refined Wheat Flour or all
purpose flour
1 cup Butter milk
1 Tablespoon Ginger Paste
1 Tablespoon Garlic Paste
1/4 teaspoon orange food coloring
Salt to taste
2 Tablespoons Vegetable Oil
1 1/2 Tablespoons Lemon juice
Oil for deep frying
Preparation
1.Cut chicken breast into bite sized pieces. Add chili powder, black pepper and salt to taste. Set aside for 30 minutes. At the end of half an hour, in a deep bowl, mix all the following thoroughly: the above chicken
pieces, corn flour, egg whites and refined wheat flour or all-purpose flour.
2.In a deep skillet, heat oil (enough to deep fry the chicken pieces) and when oil is hot, fry the chicken pieces until they are golden brown on all sides. Do this in small batches, over medium-high heat to ensure that the chicken is cooked through. Remove from oil and set aside.
3.Heat the two tablespoons of oil in a wide skillet and when oil is hot, add garlic and ginger pastes and fry until it turns brown. Lower the heat to medium-low and add butter milk, food coloring, and salt to taste. After two or three minutes raise the heat to
medium and cook until the butter milk
mixture comes to a boil. Now add the
chicken pieces and stir. Raise heat to high and cook, while stirring periodically, until the liquid is absorbed/evaporated and the meat looks dry.
4.Remove the skillet from heat and add
lemon juice. Stir well. Serve with white rice.

masala powder - half teasoon
Salt to taste
oil for frying
Set 2 :
Curry leaves - 6 or 7 leaves
green chillies slit vertically - 5
Set 3 :
vertically / thinly slices from a small onion
lime juice 2 table spoons
red chilly powder half teaspoon
salt
Preparation Method
1. Clean the chicken cubes and dry well with a paper towel
2. add all the ingredients under Set 1
3. Cover and store in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours
4. After 3 hrs remove and thaw at room temperature.
5. Add the oil to a wide skillet and fry the chicken pieces in batches.
6. Keep in medium or low medium flame to allow the inside to cook well.
7. Remove and place in the paper towel to drain the excess oil.
8. In the same pan remove excess oil and saute the ingredients in Set 2
9. Add the chicken pieces and fry for a couple of minutes
10. Mix well the contents of Set 3 and server alongside the fried chicken 65
Tips
i) Allow enough space in the skillet to turn the pieces. dont crowd the skillet wiht pieces.
ii) Deep frying is not required. Its enought if the lower half of the chicken pieces are in oil.
iii ) Dont use high heat for frying. Wait until the chicken pieces are rich brown color.
This is a very easy and tasty dish. Try out and let me know how it came.
Thanks.
