Subject:  Meditation improves concentration
I meditate regularly and I have experienced its powers. It is really good for improving concentration. It helped me to control anger and stay calm. I have experienced that it helps to control all the bad habits. It is good for the overall development of the human being so it is necessary to teach children also to meditate. If you are unable to teach your child to meditate you can take him or her to the meditation camp for children during vacations. It is necessary to teach such good habits like meditation right from the beginning so that they develop as a good human being.

I agree with Priya. I also take my children to such camps where saints teach basic meditation techniques. Though children do not understand the importance of meditation, we should try to meditate along with children so that they are encouraged to meditate. If we just force them to meditate they will never do what we ask them to do. They will meditate only if we start meditating along with them. Such habits in childhood are beneficial for their future growth and progress. So I appeal all the parents to help their child imbibe good qualities of meditation instead of making them tech-savvy.

Subject:  Good place for meditation
An ashram is a good place for meditation. You should go to the ashrams which are away from your home, in a calm and peaceful environment. You will not get any other better environment than an ashram for meditation. In ashrams you also get the guidance of great Gurus (Saints) who are well experienced and have good knowledge about meditation. You also get a chance to meditate and learn to meditate in a proper way. Last time when I had gone to such ashram, I learnt one technique of learning which is known as “Tratak Dhyan”. In this type of meditation a person has to keep his or her eyes open and concentrate attention on a particular object, for example keeping attention on the flame of a burning candle.
