Ever heard about the dream of cold fusion, to use waters as a source of energy where the only byproduct is clean water vapou. Wouldnt it be so cool if that was possible.

Hi, one of the joys of my life has always been to take a refreshing cold shower - two to three times a day.

On reading that showering utilises much more water than bathing from water filled in a bucket, i finally gave up using the shower. I now bathe from a bucket and love it too.

you may snigger, but i am have also chosen to be more thoughtful about the use of the toilet flush. Using it indiscriminately is such an arrogant form of wastage.

We once built a water tank outside our house in Kerela at ground level. Though it was filled manually with a pipe as a reserve tank we did used to keep it open during the rain to fill it. The practical problem is to ensure that there is clear skies overhead, there shouldn't be any problems of leaves falling in or anything else. Ideally having on terrace is good. Now I live in a flat, any suggestions as to how to harvest water now??

Its true, across our nation we are facing water shortages. States are fighting over water distribution when it comes to rivers and Hydel power that is generated. Even metro cities like Mumbai have chronic water shortages at times. We need to conserve water, recycle it or probably find new ways to create water from condensation or some other form

It more about potable water than anything else I think. We have abundant amount of water in the seas and with the melting of the polar ice caps thats bound to increase. Question is the need for enough drinking water and water for sanitary purposes.
