Subject:  Might try
I liked reading this article. Maybe I will give this art a try. I would like to be able to create a cute little bonsai tree of my own. Does anyone know of some books I can go through for further reference?

Subject:  Not sure
I' m not so sure this practice is all that great. This article talks about cutting off the roots. How can you endorse such a barbaric practice? Cutting off a plant' s roots is like cutting off a person' s arms and legs. Even if the plant grows after that, you have still played a part in mutilating it.

Subject:  I grow them
I am an amateur bonsai artist. There is tremendous work involved in this field and results take years to achieve. Having said that, the joy you get when you finally see the fruits of your labour is indescribable. The article has really simplified the process of growing a bonsai plant. I hope that it encourages more people to take up this hobby.

Subject:  Did not know
I always assumed that bonsai trees were starved of their nutrients to achieve such a small size. After reading this article, I realised that this is not the case. A gardener has to take special care of his plant to ensure that it remains healthy.

How to preserve my nails while gardening
I would love to learn gardening, but my biggest and most terrible worries are my nails. I like to maintain hygiene and dirty nails are a no-no. Best pots to help plant growth
Hi, I am new to gardening so please help me decide what type of pots should I buy? Is there some particular type of pots that actually helps plants to grow better, or it really does not matter what type should I use? Please give your input so that I may buy the right type. Thanks.... - Sonia [View Message]
What types of planting pots to use
Hi Sonia. I don’t think it matters much what type of planting pots you use as they all seem to grow plants. As per convenience you can use plastic pots outside the house so that they don’t break. And using pretty but breakable clay pots inside the house will keep be a better choice provided you don’t have any young kids.... - Pooja [View Message]
Using Clay planting pots
Hey Sonia! Whoever told you that using the right type of pots facilitates growth is correct. The clay pots are porous in nature. They allow air to pass freely and allow the roots to breathe freely and also help in providing moisture to the roots, which gets distributed evenly to various parts of the plants. And as we know plants need proper supply of water and air to make ... - Krishna [View Message]

keeping nails clean when gardening
To prevent your nails from getting dirt, why don’t you use gloves? There are plastic gloves that come in the market. You could use them. You know even hair dressers use them when they dye hair. You could use those kinds too. Hope this helps…... - Saurabh [View Message]
