a mother must have a healthy diet before, during and after pregnacy. this will pass on all the natural nutrient and minerals to the child while breastfeeding.
this article is informative but these things are known to every girl by her mom or elders in the family or friends but i feel that u shoudl also give some reciepies fo some nutritious food that a girl breastfeeding should intake which helps increase the milk
i feel this article was helpful,as a new breastfeeding mother i have been trying to find the dos and dont's on what to eat while breastfeeding.easier said than done your article helped a little but told only a small bit of information, same as what they tell in the hospital.would have liked to read some type of list on what to eat and what not to eat.could be more helpful.
i feel the information given in this is general. there should have been a mention of what to eat and what not to eat...i mean u should have suggested a food which would help in producing more breastmilk.....
dieting was not ruled out by my doctor as long as my calorie/fat intake included essential nutrients, protein, and did not fall below a minimum. it means slower weight loss (1 - 1.5 lbs. per week) but it can be done sensibly.
when you are breastfeeding you have a better chance of losing more weight and exercise is the bit one that you should be doing before getting pregnant and after you had your baby so your stomach can be shaped back to where it was before.
