i am having 14months old kid. i showed to many doctors about his eating disorder, they said that he is active then don't worry about it. I have afeeling that he might have worms b'coz he is not eating food and not even showing interest to eat. he has constipation and also he goes little bit for so many times, it smells and when i look at it doen't seems right.He also have vomitings, what ever he eats he thorws up immediately.when he born his weight was 8pounds now his weight is 20 pounds, he looks like months baby. There are several types of common worms that may be transmitted to humans from animals/mammals and insects. Tapeworms are very common. The short, white-ish rice-sized worms are tapeworm segments filled with eggs. Some types of tapeworms can be very long and somewhat flat - resembling tape I guess. If you consume the segments with eggs, you will get worms. There is a lengthy cycle for tapeworms and I'm guessing that if you have tapeworm segments in your stool, you have likely either inadvertently swollowed an infected flea or other infected insect, or you have inadvertently consumed tapeworm segments containing eggs. These two methods of transmittal are for two different kinds of worms. The worms attach to your intestines and feed off of the nutrients you consume. They get long and break off "segments" that come out in your stool. The incubation period for these is about a month. So if you think you are cured, they may reappear in a month and you'll know you were not cured, or that you've contracted it again. Here in the states, you can purchase tapeworm medicine for animals at the local pet store. I would suggest trying to see a doctor about getting some medicine. It is very simple to get rid of them and not painful. You should take steps to make sure your environment is free of fleas and that any animals you live with, do not have their bedding anywhere near yours if you cannot keep your animals from being free of worms. Lastly, you should be careful of exposing genitalia to insects. Flies will land on genitalia, where it is moist and warm, and lay eggs. The larvae will thrive in your genitalia and consume waste material as well as your flesh. They will eventually grow past the larvae stage and, hopefully, come out on their own. however, in the meantime, they are eating your flesh and may transmit diseases to you. The larvae may be removed by hand or flushing them out of your vagina. Keep yourself covered so insects do not come back to reinfect you. I don't know if this is what some of you may have, but it sounds like it might be. Fly larvae are like plump grains of rice that wriggle around. It will have a tiny black or brown tip on one end. They might come in other colors in other parts of the world.

Few tips I know for the worms is: * eat fresh capsicum strands * eat papaya * avoid eating sugary and milk products * if too much prob take broad width sticky tape and seal at the bottom. generally during nights you feel itching and the come and get stuck to the tape. for children it will work.

For Worms, get some garlic capsules. Supposedly they work really well, or eat garlic cloves. My grandfather also swore by saurkraut. Maybe if you ate it raw... Someone also said just ground cloves... I also read that apple cider would do the trick. Hey, it can't hurt.

Hi I have a little girl turning 6 and for years she has been complaning of a sore tummy again and again I have seen the GP about it then taken her to the pediatrician. there was a parasite found in her stole but the Doctor tells me that we have to live with it and stay away from dairy,spicies anything that would be conciderd gasy becaude the gas is what is causing the discomfort. So she is seen by a another pediatritician he says that she does not need to go without milk but to give her Acidophilus. my little girl still with both watching what she eats and giving her this Acidophilus she is still complaining. cant we simply get rid of this thing?

My eldest daughter had thread worms a couple of years ago which she got from school we had trouble clearing them but when they went they never came back. Now 18mnths on my younger daughter has the wreched things she woke in intense pain in the night and from previous experience I knew what they were. I clean all bed linen daily scrub the door handles clean the toilets and taps disinfect all linen toewls and toys/comforters and pray we don't get them back.I have however heard that giving your child carrots,coconut and castor oil on a regular basis is a good way of keeping them away and I shall be trying this from now on. These worms seem to be the most unpleasant and painful experience that a child can go through.
