I disapprove of suggestions like johnson toileteries--- for 2 reasons one , its a common gift and the babies seem to get loaded with these and two , a large number of babies develop an allergic rash to these products. these are not at all recommended by pediatricians( I happen to be one)My second objection is to 'surma daani".Again we discourage the use of surma or kaajal in babies. I would strongly recommend gifting an Indian book "The Penguin India GUIDE TO CHILD CARE" BY DR R K ANAND. ONE CAN ALSO GIFT A SMALL QUILL.
