Harshovardhan (37) and Avantika (36) are married couples and have successfully adopted a girl child.  After completing the entire procedure, right from registration, the baby finally arrived in their family on 22^nd February, 2010. Read on to know more about their adoption success story.

We got married 13 years ago. Decision of adopting a child was mutual and I and my wife had plans to have an adopted child even before our marriage. This is the first adoption in our family. Our family was completed on 22^nd Feb 2010. The baby was just 2 months old when she came to our family. This was like our dream come true.

The arrival of our baby brought lot of happiness and good luck to our family. It took us 4 years to complete the entire adoption process and bring the baby home. Some of our friends already knew about the how adoption procedure needs to be followed and with the help of our friends we made our dream come true.

We were not completely happy with the adoption agency as the adoption process was too long. As mentioned earlier it took us 4 years right from registration to bringing the baby home. But we are happy that we are successful in adopting a child. All I want to say is, parents who are looking ahead to adopt a child need to be very patient as according to us the entire adoption process is very tough.  However, after two years I am considering to adopt one more baby to make our family complete in true sense

My family and friends supported me a lot in this adoption journey. My mother knew that I am going to adopt a child but she is no more to see our little wonder. Other family members accepted the baby whole heartedly. They decorated the house when baby the arrived. My wife took leave from her office work for welcoming the baby. It was wonderful to have our little wonder after lot of struggle.
